Dear @pravvyprav and @quentinhapsburg
On the theme of #songsyoudontwannahearinjail
Take this list and top it, if you can:

Garden Project: Half way
All of the major structures are now in place, except for the sixteen foot marble statues of me of course. Over the next week they’ll finish the pergola, paving the steps and the lower seating area. Then lay the gravel paths and start painting.
Once that’s all complete Andy will have three days of planting; trees and shrubs arrive next Wednesday.

Garden Project: Day Four
I’ve known Andy Henderson for some years now. His younger brother, Keith, one of my closest friends and heroes tragically passed away six years ago. Since then I’ve spent many an evening in Andy’s old restaurant, Boys Cafe, and on his sofa. Many of my friends wish they were more like Andy. Andy has turned those clichés we all hear into reality; just want it, go for it and...

Kaffeine
It’s official www.kaffeine.co.uk make the best coffee in London.
Located at 66 Great Titchfield Street, London, W1W 7QJ, Peter opened around 3 weeks ago and seems to be the Gary V of coffee in London.
Anyone who gets their daily dose from Lantana nearby should take the extra minute to walk up to Kaffeine.
The Kaffeine baristas seem to do a much better job than the guys at Monmouth even.
I have nothing to say
gary:
Why is everyone waiting for IT to HAPPEN I am just tired of brands and companies waiting for it to happen because by the time they react the ship will sail and this is the biggest ship we have ever seen.

SMS from China
Me: How are you dude?
Matthew Rudy Jacobs: I'm crazy. Don't have a shower at the mo. Have to go to the public baths and listen to old men spitting. Tomorrow I go to the north korean border. I just turned round and about 30 people have started doing tai chi. Meanwhile someone's taking a photo of me. Maybe they have a 'caucasian of the day blog' or maybe not. Now everyone seems to be doing poi. So yeah. It's good. Everything is happening, but so is nothing. See you soon.

ESP guiding 3M through recession
Since Eben Halford started helping us hone our processes (a couple of weeks ago), we’ve seen a drastic change across the company.
Taskboards are springing up all over the place.
Each team is doing their own daily standup followed by a short cross-team scrum of scrums. From the business team, through the community team, over to us scumbags in development.

My first sexy beer*
I’ve been trying to summarise this past weekend at EuRuKo in Barcelona but can’t get beyond awesome.
A special thanks to all the organisers; you raised the bar ten-fold.
To everyone else, I said it all on The Optimist Conspectus (you know who you all are)

Picomarks
The guys at Contrast have recently been doing things the way I see as the right way.
Recently they had Ben McRedmond spend a week with them to gain some work experience. Instead of the usual, “let’s give him some papers, a photocopier and a filing cabinet and oh go on then we’ll even let him come to lunch with us…… maybe” experience which many places tend to...
